Solid electrolyte for improving battery safety and durability

Discover in this video the work carried out by Charlotte Maignan during her doctoral studies under the supervision of Professor Bruno Boury at the University Institute of Technology (IUT) of Montpellier, co-supervised by CNRS research director Emmanuel Flahaut, and co-supervised by research director Laure Monconduit.

The objective of her research was to study the synthesis and characterization of composites based on chemically modified graphene oxide as hybrid solid electrolytes for metal-anode batteries.

This work illustrates the scientific expertise of our laboratories in developing a solid electrolyte designed to improve the safety and durability of metal-anode batteries.

This is a crucial topic given current energy challenges
